Leicester Racecourse

Leicester Racecourse

The Racecourse was established in 1773, at the Victoria Park in Leicester. Ten decades later, they moved to Oadby. A few hundred miles away from the city centre, The Leicester Racecourse has hosted some of the most valuable races in the UK, including the ‘Prince of Wales Stakes’ and the ‘Portland Stakes’.

The Racecourse hosts special events such as Ladies Day and the King Richard lll Stakes throughout the year.

The groundcovers 220 acres of fresh and luscious greenery. They now have an event space known as ‘The Kube’, where they host conferences, meetings, events and exhibitions as in when required. The Kube creates a perfect ambience for these events with a view of the beautiful racecourse.

They hold about 30 race meetings a year,  19 flat races and 11 National Hunt. It is quite obvious that a number of connoisseurs enjoy and attend these races. They are proud to say that they have around 108 stables on the racecourse and 6 special security stables for the high profile horses.
