Celebrate bonfire night with a bang this year at Leicester’s biggest fireworks extravaganza, the Abbey Park Bonfire and Fireworks Display. This year’s event takes place on Saturday 2nd November – and, with over 15,000 visitors each year, you’ll be celebrating in excellent company!
The spectacular main fireworks display is at 8pm, but there’s a special children’s firework display at 6:45pm, which is quieter and themed for a younger audience, so perfect for small children or those experiencing fireworks for the first time. There’s plenty to keep you entertained alongside the Abbey Park fireworks display, too: watch the dazzling bonfire blazing; enjoy the adrenaline of a funfair ride; tuck into some scrumptious, warming food and beverages; and enjoy a programme of packed entertainment – which last year included fire dancers ‘Phosphorus’ and a special appearance from ‘The Tiger who Came to Tea’!
