In Europe and the UK, IHG Celebrate Service week is currently underway. During this week we use this opportunity to recognise and thank our amazing colleagues who really go above and beyond to deliver the best customer service our guests could ask for. At Holiday Inn Leicester Wigston, we pride ourselves in making sure that every guest is treated like a VIP and made to feel right at home.
This week we celebrate two members of staff who have been specifically named in recent reviews left on our Tripadvisor page. Our first thank you goes to our colleague Helen who made our guests feel extremely welcome upon arrival, here’s a snippet of what the guest said:
“We had a lovely stay at the holiday inn. Helen and the team were exceptionally friendly and provided us a very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone if they can accommodate a 2-week-old baby they’re ready for anything!!”
Our second shout out goes to our Star of the Week, Magda. When we think about how we wish to service our guests we like to think that the whole experience is fantastic from start to finish. This GLOWING review left by a guest recently has shown exactly what we mean when we say that we champion customer service.
“When we arrived, we were checked in by the lovely cheerful Magda. She explained her manager had upgraded us to a very nice room. She explained where our room was, how breakfast worked, where everything was served and all about the hotel facilities. It was clear that she loved what she does and has a wonderful personal touch with the guests.
We had a lovely executive room on the upper floor. Brilliant shower which was easy to operate. There are only 2 floors but no lift. Magda even offered to help us if we had any luggage.”.
