Lovely return visit.
I had a very warm welcome from Julia at reception when I first arrived, check in was quick and easy. Hardip and Helen on reception in the morning were lovely and helpful. We needed extra towels and body wash, which was brought up to the room quickly. They wished us a cheerful good morning when we came down for breakfast. I've stayed before near Christmas to visit family and decided this time to bring my partner. He was pleasantly surprised. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but inside is bright, clean and modern. ...
Great service!
I had a big family wedding planned in Rutland and over 100 of us stayed at the Wigston hotel. I went in a week prior just to ensure everything was all booked in and was advised to speak to the Duty manager Caiden. I must say Caiden accommodated everything we needed and we actually had a couple of issues that he ironed out for us. The experience was great and it was mainly down to him taking action!
Excellent customer service
Spotlessly clean and very comfortable with great food. Very friendly, professional & knowledgeable staff. Particular “shout out” to Caiden for organising transfers from & to the airport & for keeping in touch with me to make sure everything went smoothly. This exceptional customer service was very appreciated and continued during my time at the hotel. Strongly recommend. I look forward to returning!

This was a really nice find. Stayed here during Download Festival. Simply excellent! Upgraded us to an Executive Room, which was very nice of them. The hotel was absolutely spotless, that included all the public areas and bedroom, bathroom. The friendly atmosphere was immediately displayed by the staff, which were warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble! Especially the manager Babar, and George. Sum Up - Excellent hotel....Will definitely be back!
Friendly staff especially Caiden
Absolutely first class customer service from all the staff especially Caiden Liney, who went out of his way to make my stay as pleasant as possible, especially with the personal problems I was having in the past 4 weeks. From showing compassion, a friendly face and always made time to speak with me and assist with all my enquiries. Would definitely use holiday inn leicesyer Wigston again !
The best Holiday Inn We’ve Stayed In for its Helpful Staff and Comfortable Room
This place just has the most helpful and accommodating staff out of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We have to stay in hotels every weekend for work so have stayed in 100s over the years so have lots of hotel stays under our belts. We became IHG members in order to accumulate points and discounts which covers a few hotel chains, the Leicester - Wigston being one of them. I have to say, the level of care and attention the staff at this particular Holiday Inn go to to ensure you are comfortable is top notch! The rooms are clean and contemporary and the food they’re made with love. I honestly cannot fault this place especially for the room rate and will always book here if we have to stay in this part of the country!

Staff was very helpful especially Kaden on reception helped me a lot with luggage and tried his best to find the best deal for me when I wanted to extend my stay. Breakfast is kind of regular as in all holiday inn hotels but the staff at Wigston is more polite than other holiday inn hotels where I have stayed Rooms are spacious and beautiful - no complaints. Loved the location of hotel.
Exceptional service from dedicated staff.
The staff are second to none. Smiley, friendly, welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. I regularly stay at this hotel for work around the area and I even put up with a longer commute to stay here! I never usually sleep well in hotels but I do at this one. It’s quiet, clean and homely. I was upgraded with ease and found myself in a beautiful executive room with wine and chocolates in the fridge! ☺️ Breakfast is lovely, everything you need.

We stayed here for one night as we were celebrating a family birthday. From start to finish we were super impressed. First of all the reception staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The room was large, clean and bright with great facilities and a fantastic shower. Lovely white crisp bed linen and towels. In the morning we invited our family to join us for breakfast. The choice was amazing and the quality of food was exceptional. There was a choice of hot food, assorted cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and toast. Something for everyone. Another bonus was free car parking. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
